The newly developed website is a vibrant digital hub for the Waterford St. Patrick’s Day Festival, showcasing the spirit of Ireland’s oldest city. Built on WordPress for easy content management, it features 15 to 17 pages, including a detailed festival schedule and an “Explore the Area” section aimed at attracting international visitors. The branding incorporates the existing logo with the tagline “Where St. Patrick’s Day Began,” using a festive color palette of green, blue, black, and yellow. Key features like Mailchimp integration for newsletters and a persistent “Whats On” CTA in the header enhance user engagement and navigation.

Accessibility was a priority, achieving WCAG 2.2 AA compliance to ensure inclusivity. The team focused on high-contrast ratios, keyboard-only navigation, and text resizing capabilities.
